Hello,

Is there any reason why tune modifications would stick with one file and not another?I tuned a car that was previously tuned by another shop, and was able to make changes to the tables just fine. I was essentially just modifying existing values in the tables though, and not changing the MAF scalar or table axis.However, when I tried to tune another car, none of my changes will stick, using either full or partial read and flash methods. I would change the tune, flash the file, read it out and it would be the same as stock.If I load the full flash from the succesfully tuned car, I can then change table values, but not axis or MAF scalars still. Anyone have some suggestions? I have confirmed that the write access pins are jumped, and am using an unmodded VAG KKL cable with the FTDI chip in it, and the MS41 flash tool. What am I missing?

Hello,

My associate has a wrx rally car. it has a decent forged engine with very loose PW clearances, running 650cc sards, and a motec m48 running anti lag, vf34 restricted, oem tmic. was making 140 odd kw.He recently entered in a non cams event, and could run mdified, so threw a vf23 on, front mount intercooler, no restrictor, and had the ecu retuned.The local tuner here said the tune was fat, safe and had heaps of correction. made 190kw on the dyno, and felt strong. 5 minutes into the first stage, the engine started to feel doughy. expect air temps were forcing ign retard. by the ten minute mark, power was remarkedely lower, the engine was detonating badly, and thecoolant temp was rising on the guage.This is the second time he has had a car tuned by this tuner, with the same result, the last time, he destroyed the engine. unsure about this time.Now ive looked at a tune this tuner has put into a customer haltech e8, and i noted he was removing fuel when coolant temps got high. he was also retarding ign when air temps rose.I thought adding fuel to help cool the pistons was wise ?

Lair of the Shadow Broker Car Chase Sound Problem

Hello,

I'm having a small issue where during the car chase, the sound cuts in and out. I've seen other topics on overall audio issues but nothing definitive on whether a fix is coming and if so where to get it. Within the game, I've tried it a bunch of different ways, and it's always the same thing. It's just during the car chase, and the sound simply cuts in and out, though it's more silent than not. I've heard some people have had this exact same problem on the XBOX. I have not had any of the other bugs I've read about in Shadowbroker, however.I have quad core Intel i7 processors at 2.8 gigs each, sadly I don't remember my video card's exact name but it's a newer ATI model, my drivers are updated, and I've tried 2 different sets of speakers so it's a software issue of some sort. I'm running Windows 7. Still, since it's only during the car chase, I'm guessing it's a game issue and not a system issue. Everything else runs great.I would love to see a patch for Shadowbroker addressing this (and any other issues people are having). For the most part Mass Effect 2 is extremely well polished, and it just seems this last DLC was probably a bit rushed because of pressure or hype and thus a few bugs slipped through.

Us regulars at York face a possible closure due to a takeover bid by Mintex brakes.A deal is done to gain a 10#+ year lease but significant funds need to be raised to lay a new track and build new facilities.I for one am excited this could be the opportunity to making York great and maybe filling a void that will be left from losing Shakey.There are a lot of negative comments from joe public and we want to address these and improve and dismiss any issues for a successful future.Can we have a dignified debate on how to fix and improve issues and make York great again?

Just want to ask if anyone can tell us where there are smoking rooms in the airport.I know where there is one for when we arrive from Australia but we take the sky train to the other terminal to fly onto Vietnam and have not previously found one in that terminal. Can anyone assist?

Hi,

I have an issue with my laptop.It's exact model is Samsung NP530-U3B.It is working perfectly but both of its hinges are broken.Also the screw mounts of the hinges are completely destroyed after a drop.I tried looking for a replacement back cover,so I could mount the hinges back on it,but it's too expensive.I am looking for a DIY idea to somehow fix the laptop,so I could use it.Any ideas how to fix ?
